PvP is one of the most used skills in Minecraft. It stands for Player vs Player and can be played anywhere there are two players together - on a LAN or private server or on a public server. On public servers, PvP is encrypted into nearly every game - Skywars, Hunger Games, or even PvP!

There are three main types of PvP:

Noob PvP - This is wooden or no weapons and leather or no armour

Normal PvP - This uses iron armour, an iron sword with one or two enchantments, a bow and maybe a golden apple or two

God PvP - This is the highest tier PvP and uses fully enchanted diamond gear, fully enchanted diamond sword, enchanted golden apples, fully enchanted bow, spectral arrows, enderpearls, flint and steel, water and lava buckets, and TNT

My Top Tips for PvP

Noob PvP

​

Noob PvP, there's not much to say about this one; its just so simple. If your using a wooden sword and leather armour, then sprint and jump at your enemy to use critical hits. Also, circle around your enemy while hitting your player so they can't hit you - that strategy will quickly help you to defeat your enemy.

Normal PvP

For Normal PvP, use the same skills as before, but you must remember to use your bow! Shoot arrows at your opponent to weaken them, eat your golden apple, then go in with your sword (if they back off, use this chance to get them with more arrows) and kill them!

God PvP

​

God PvP, the best type of PvP - and my favourite! This tier of PvP can go on for half an hour or more if you and your opponent are evenly matched. You can go through three or four sets of gear before defeating your opponent. Now, to tactics - after eating your Enchanted Golden Apple, enderpearl behind your enemy, then get a few bow shots, before coming in and finishing them off with your sword, flint and steel, lava or TNT.
